Born in Australia Jasmin started moving countries once she hit four months old, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, England and now Portugal have been her countries of residence.
Having a Portuguese mother and father from New Zealand, there is a taste of cross cultural flavor in the her music, which she likes to allow to flow from her heart as natural as possible.
Jasmin Jones is a solo project that consist of a raw acoustic sound, guitar, piano and vocals, simple but deep. Life inspires Jasmin lyrics along with faith, friendship, love and surf allowing anyone to join in on the journey to sit back and enjoy the music.
This year her first album will be released with the goal to reach as many ears as possible. Porto, Lisbon, Cascais and Algarve are the places you can hear Jasmin Jones in bars, restaurants and by the beach!
Travel, surf and meeting new people inspire the on going song writing.
Ericeira is a love of Jasmin with its beautiful beaches and friendly people, a place she has grown to love, to come to improve surf and share life with others.
Jasmin is also lead singer in a punk rock band called Triplet who will be releasing their single "Its Time" this year in Portugal, this is another expression of passion and soul but with a rock band!
You might call her a voice to her generation.
